#166 Landscape in oil by Helmer Osslund (1866-1938), one of Sweden's most influential artists. During the mid 1890's he studied under Paul Gauguin and by the early 1900's his expressionistic lndscapes started garnering interntional success. An avid hiker, his work was done on parchment paper, a technique he learned from Gauguin.
